Turmoil of Trolls (ToT)

Updated: Jul 13, 2024

The game is for any group across all ages. Based off of my X feed, I looked at making a fun experience teaching and commenting on the absurdity of current social media. Join in as we explore the craziness in the land of Quiperia. We don't do classes or set limitations. General game design and some fun that can be programed with an A and B button and some movement.

I started with a simple adventure that spawned a fictional land and some very on the nose humor. Turmoil of Trolls contains its heroes fighting against bots, shades and great deities that at least seem to work on three mini games and a hastily written script for my friends to play through in an arcade-tabletop. The player goes through a serious of adventures and made choices along the way. with a few changes in the program I could base everything off those choices and performance. All of this is based purely on going through my above mentioned X feed.

I figured this is a great experiment in bringing fun games to game night or hangouts that can work for the most hardcore nerds, to the most casual of players. And I want everyone to choose their own experience. Misfit Adventure is here to allow you to make the games you want with your friends. The training that is offered is free and ranges from no code to easy starting points. We will always offer our own examples too.

If you made it this far, thanks for reading! We will keep making games and help you do the same. Hopefully you join the community. Happy gaming!

Your game, 'Turmoil of Trolls,' brilliantly tackles the 'absurdity of current social media' by gamifying the fight against bots and 'shades.' This interactive approach to discussing online challenges is highly engaging. It highlights how crucial it is to not only recognize these elements but also to craft compelling narratives and experiences that cut through the noise. For anyone looking to develop a stronger voice or more resilient presence in the digital realm, understanding how to foster meaningful digital interactions is key.

For a dose of cute but challenging gameplay, the Poor Bunny game is a great pick. You control a bunny on a mission to collect carrots, but the levels are filled with all sorts of dangers you need to dodge. The controls are usually simple (arrow keys), making it accessible to everyone. It's surprisingly engaging trying to navigate the increasingly chaotic screens, and achieving a high score or clearing a tough level feels really rewarding. It’s a perfect little unblocked game for when you need a quick gaming fix.
