Misfit Adventure trains and educates students in modern technology in a way that is fun and
engaging to ensure long-term success.

What Is the Program?
Misfit Adventure is a full-concept video game development program designed to take students from the spark of an idea to a fully published game. Participants become creators, crafting their own interactive stories using our trademarked RPG framework, Turmoil of Trolls.

How Does it work?

Misfit Adventure provides products geared toward you classroom or afterschool program needs. This includes directed lesson plans, classroom instruction assistance, teacher support and video games. We also run summer camps and personalized STEM courses based on availability. A full breakdown is below:

Lesson Plans and Games: From 4 weeks to full Semester Programs. Includes Game files and video lessons.
Game Files for Education: Game Files ready for Download! If you just want to learn yourself go right ahead. We update regularly.
Train the Trainer Courses: We started out teaching educators how to make games! We run teaching programs aimed at getting educators' ideas out there and available!
Summer Camps: We run summer camps through our partners and select schools. If interested check for availability!

Story Writing

Building engaging, structured narratives. We teach what makes a good story and how to address themes and messages.

Character Creation

Create your character and all their quirks. Learn how to start this character out so they can grow throughout the adventure.

Video Game Design

Understanding gameplay mechanics and level design. Building in-game resources such as environments and items. Introduction to digital illustration and concept art. Sound design and voiceover basics.

Technology Skills

Coding - Learning the logic and scripting behind gameplay.

AI Usage - Implementing AI for smarter NPCs and efficient workflows.

Entrepreneurship

Publishing - Packaging and publishing a playable game online.

Starting Your Own Business - Teaching entrepreneurship and how to monetize your work.

Marketing- How do people know who you are.
